1 Then Solomon said:
“The Lord has said
that he has chosen to dwell in thick darkness.
2 I have built you a magnificent temple, O Lord,
a dwelling place in which you may reside forever.”
3 Then the king turned around and blessed the entire assembly of Israelites as they stood before him.
